In this project, we’ll create a winter landscape (though the techniques can be adapted for any time of year). We’ll paint directly onto raw canvas, then build up the layered scene with textural free motion embroidery. For an optional extra, botanical monoprinting and additional stitch work can be incorporated to add further depth.
