Here’s how Flourish membership works
Think of it as a Netflix for mixed media textiles.
Enrolment opens three times a year. Once you’re in, you get instant access to the full library of textile art projects, with new ones added regularly. Choose what you want to make, when you want to make it. No pressure to keep up, no falling behind, no schedule but your own.
Each project comes with easy-to-follow videos that show you the techniques you need, suggest materials to use, and give ideas and inspiration. Each one explores a new technique or theme, so the more you explore, the more skills you build across the whole spectrum of textile mixed media art.
Your membership is ongoing, for as long as you want to stay. You keep access to everything for as long as you’re subscribed. Cancel anytime.
What materials do we use in the membership?
Every month we approach mixed media textiles differently, but we tend to use similar fabrics and art materials so you’re not having to buy lots of different supplies each month. I am also big believer in using what you have!
Here is the list of materials we mainly use:
- Cotton Canvas / Lutradur / Dobby cottons
- Fabric paints / Fabric spray paints
- Selection paint brushes
- Cotton rag paper
- Expandable paint /Light moulding paste
- Mesh / voile / scrim / Organza
- Machine threads and hand embroidery threads
- Found items / nature for mark-making and printing
- Sketchbook and drawing pen
This is remote learning, but we’re truly connected...
Lively Zoom sessions
We have 2 drop-in Zooms calls, where we have fun talking through the current project you’re working on. (Alternates between one evening call and one daytime call.)
This is a chance to ask all your questions, get personalised guidance and leave feeling inspired.
Plus there are additional interviews with other textile artists every 2-3 months.

Everyone brings something different
You might have a background in embroidery, dressmaking, quilting, knitting or felting.
Perhaps you’ve enjoyed a bit of painting, printmaking, sketching or watercolour.
You may feel completely new to all of it!
But what connects everyone at Flourish is a desire to create magic by bringing these varied elements together through mixed media art.
Three reasons I know you can fit it in
If you’re still reading, it’s because you love the idea of some textiley goodness in your life. So there’s the first thing: you’re motivated.
Secondly, there’s no timetable. You dip in when it suits you. Maybe that’s a quiet Sunday afternoon, a stolen hour between school runs, or a whole evening when the house is calm. You choose the project, you set the pace. No guilt, no catching up, no missed anything.
The library is designed to be flexible. Lighter projects for when life is busy. Bigger ones for when you want to lose yourself in something. Seasonal projects to take you out into nature for inspiration. And if you miss the group Zoom, it’s no big deal: there are lots of other ways to connect, and you can watch the recording in our Facebook group.
Finally, learning to keep art on your priority list is a central theme of Flourish. My job is to help you believe in the value of your art, learn new habits and develop a confident mindset.
With a bit of structure and a library at your fingertips, you’ll find it’s easy… and I’m there to help you stay on track.
